Moose Safari in the North of Sweden

Jutis is a village in the middle of an area with a large number of moose. Many of the animals that normally live on the mountain slopes move down around the village in winter. The hunting team of Jutis has been actively protecting these animals for many years through supplementary feeding in the most difficult winter months.

As a means of financing the animal protection and in order to let the visiting test engineers working for car manufacturers see moose at close range in their natural environment, the hunting team arranges MOOSE SAFARIES on snow scooters from December to March. Departure every day from Jutis, which is situated 39 km from Arjeplog on the “Silver Road”.

The price for a one hour moose safari is SEK 750 per person.

GUARANTEE: In case the guest cannot see moose during the tour the entire fee is paid back.
